So this January we had the awesome opportunity to stay at the Boardwalk Hotel and also get a reservation at the Trattoria al Forno on the boardwalk. The Bon Voyage breakfast.

The only character my daughter was not scared of. My son was in love.

This is hands down my favourite character experience and the BEST menu. The location was fantastic, especially for those hoping to hop over to Epcot or Hollywood Studios after. What better way for you to work off a massive breakfast than a 20 minute walk to Hollywood Studios, or a 5 minute one to Epcot. Second most impressive part is the characters. We meet some very hard to meet characters at this breakfast. Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider or Ryder. They each came out separately and came to each table to spend one on one time.

The one on one time they spent with my kids was priceless. My daughter was scared on every character except Ariel at this breakfast. The kindness and patience they showed with my kids was priceless and will forever be remembered. My son did the napkin parade and my daughter clapped along. The whole experience didn't seemed rushed like other character breakfasts.

Each character spent time to connect with my children.

The third most important part, and most important to me, was the food! I can NOT praise the food enough. My Mom and I both enjoyed a mimosa AND the coffee was included as well. (I am hoping this never changes). They bring out a tower of pastries and yummy thinges to eat that are Mermaid and Rapunzel themed. I actually wish they weren't so good because my kids ate them all. For our main I enjoyed the "swimmers di light" and my mother had the "royal breakfast" (note: when we do the dining plan my mother always orders the most expensive thing regardless of what it is).

I was so busy eating that I forgot to take more pictures of the food. You can find the menu here. The meal was one sit down credit and to me was the best meal of our whole vacation. Great location, characters and FOOD! Another character buffet or family style would of killed me at this point in our vacation. Lol.
