DIY Mickey Mouse pin holder #disneydiy #pintrading #disneypintrading #disneymom #disneysmmc
So 3 years ago "we" (my son sorta does, but now I'm in too deep and can't stop) started pin trading. For those of you not familiar with pin trading, it's pretty self explanatory, you buy authentic Disney pins to trade with cast members. You can trade with other park guests but that can sometimes be awkward , I had a girl really want our one pin and I felt bad and gave in. So new rule is to only trade with cast members and politely tell guests I'm done trading for the day. So now that we have a few pins I didn't a place to hang them in my son's room. I like simple design, and the colour black. So I came up with this simple and inexpensive DIY to display them. I had some common supplies at home and everything else cost me under $14.00
First take a trip to your local Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I went to Hobby Lobby. If going to either don't forget to load their app to get 40% off.
Here is what you need to do.
