We love to listen to Sirius Disney channel, and our fav time is during “Be Our Guest”. During the segment they pick a Disney music lover and have them pick their 4 favourite Disney songs. My kids and I love to play this game while driving and the answers change each year. The release of Encanto really changed up the order and we would pick the entire movie if we could. Also, holidays play a huge role in our latest top 4 as well. Halloween 2021 brought about Muppets Haunted Mansion and great songs like “Welcome to the Life Hereafter”, which I know would make the list in October. That being said, as of today here are what the kids and I picked as our top 4 songs. In no particular order.

1. Bam! From Zombies. We love a Disney series, and Zombies is currently our top one. With Zombies 3 being released later this year my kids have really been making sure to rewatch the first two. After one listen you’ll be singing “oh man oh man” and it will be a hit all year round.

2. What else can I do? Encanto. Well we knew this would happen. Since my two kids couldn’t agree on one song and we knew everyone would pick “We don’t talk about Bruno” we let my daughter do the picking. She loves the Isabella character and her flower power. What 5 year old wouldn’t?
   

3. Never had a friend like me, Will Smith. What I have been loving about the live action remakes is my kids being introduced to the songs I grew up loving. I am from the golden age of movies like Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. My son really loves Will Smith’s take on the genie and hearing the song so many years after I did and loving it, really holds a special place in my heart.
   

4. I2I, Goofy Movie. This is a given and my top pick. I love this movie. I love this soundtrack. I love it all. One positive from the pandemic was TikTok once again reintroducing a song to a generation. I have this saved on my Sirius XM top song list. Tevin Campbell needs to be recognized for the Disney music muse that he is.
