We just got back from our April 2021 trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge. I decided to share a quick and fast video about the waterslide and splash pad area at Kidani Village.

If you stay at either Jambo House or Kidani village, you are able to visit both pools while staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. There is a shuttle bus that runs constantly between Jambo House and Kidani village, so guests are able to enjoy both. I will note that since we were at Jambo House, where everything was closed and they only had guests on the 5th floor, Kidani Village did seem much more crowded. The pool area actually reaches capacity while we were there and guests had to wait. So if you plan on heading to that pool, make sure you get there before prime swimming. Not shown in the video is the pool activities they had. The activity director had games and trivia that kept the kids busy and adults entertained. They did those right by the zero entry pool entrance. Unlike some resorts in Florida, the hottub was open (it's much smaller than the one at Jambo House). Masks were not required in the pool area, but were if you want to the bathroom or ordered food & drink. They are needed while walking around the property and on the shuttle. The pool bar was serving limited food. Pulled pork sandwich, ham sandwich and I believe a burger. There wasn't a shortage of alcoholic drinks though, so we were fine. Lol. The splash pad area, which has that rubber flooring to it so bring water shoes if your kids feet get hot, was open. So was the little park area and ping pong table beside it.

All in all we were so excited we got to spend a day at this pool. It is busier, louder, and more packed than Jambo House. My kids of course loved it for all those reasons.
